The Water Rooster

The Water Rooster is blessed with many capabilities. He is not only a good and effective communicator but is also determined and prepared to work hard for what he wants. Admittedly, circumstances may not always make things easy, but the Water Rooster, with his persistence and self-belief, invariably wins through. His steadfast qualities will be very much to his advantage in this significant and fast-moving year.

For Water Roosters in education, the demands can be considerable. With often complex subject matter to study and possible presentations to prepare for, many a Water Rooster will find himself being stretched and occasionally forced out of his comfort zone. However, while the Horse year can be exacting, it is by being challenged that skills will be refined and knowledge gained. What the Water Rooster achieves over the year will be to his benefit both now and in the future.

The Horse year can also be highly instructive for Water Roosters in work. Again the pressures can be considerable and some of the tasks and objectives challenging. However, yet again, this will allow the Water Rooster to learn and apply himself in new ways and give him excellent experience.

The Horse year encourages growth and learning, but while important headway can be made, the Water Rooster does need to exercise care. Office politics, jealousy or a clash of personality may cause problems, and this needs to be kept in perspective and not distract him from his work. This is a year to focus on what he has to do, develop his skills and widen his experience.

For Water Roosters seeking work, the Horse year can open up some important possibilities. However, these Water Roosters should not be too restrictive in the type of vacancies they pursue. By widening the scope of their search, they will not only have more chance of getting their foot on the employment ladder but also gain what can be useful work experience. It could also be worth these Water Roosters investigating apprenticeship schemes, work placements or government-sponsored initiatives. By keeping informed about what is available, they can benefit from some potentially significant opportunities. March to early May, June and November could see important developments.

In financial matters, the Water Rooster will need to be disciplined. With often ambitious ideas but limited means, he will need to keep strict control of his outgoings and be wary of succumbing to too many indulgences or extravagances. This is a year to avoid risk or hasty and ill-thought out purchases. Also, if entering into an agreement or borrowing funds, the Water Rooster does need to check the terms carefully.

With his friendly and outgoing nature, he can, however, look forward to an active social life. Often his situation will allow him to be with those of similar age, and shared interests and activities can lead to some good fun being had.
